We love high elevation grown Guatemalan coffees like this one from Francisco due to the clean ripe berry and chocolate notes with intoxicating aroma.

Francisco Morales Carrillo owns Finca La Esperanza, located in the Huehuetenango region, where he grows nearly 425 coffee trees in a mix of varieties, including Caturra, Pache, Bourbon, San Ramon, and Typica. After picking only the ripe cherries, they are immediately depulped and fermented for 24 hours. It's washed three times with great care taken to use water as efficiently as possible. The coffee is then placed on concrete patios for 3–6 days to dry until the desired moisture content is reached.

This coffee is rich and creamy, yet balanced with a red wine acidity, ripe red berries and chocolate notes.

From our house to yours, we hope you enjoy every sip!
