Tobosi is in the El Guarco, Cartago region of Costa Rica. With its rich, fertile soil and ideal micro-climate, El Guarco is widely recognized as a prized growing region. In 2017 Tobosi won 1st place in the Costa Rica Cup of Excellence competition and this year it took 2nd place. This black honey coffee has a sweet singular aroma and a heavy body.
We roasted this coffee slower and slightly longer to accentuate the milk chocolate and heavy body. In the cup we taste milk chocolate covered raspberries with hints of vanilla and a heavy mouthfeel.
